I'm Cody Henninge, Owner and Operator of Amore Services LTD, and Co-Owner of Koala Kruizers Transportation. I've been happily married for 18 years and am the proud father of two amazing teenage kids.

My journey into the world of service and support began in 2009 when I launched Amore Services while still working full-time as a bartender and raising a toddler and a newborn. I spent much of my early career in the restaurant industry, but I always knew deep down that I was meant to build something more meaningful. College wasn’t my path—I knew early on that I wanted to own a business, make a difference, and create opportunities for others.

Today, that dream is a reality. Amore Services has grown into a purpose-driven agency dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Together with a deeply experienced management team, with over 85 years of combined experience in the IDD field—we’ve built something truly special: a company grounded in compassion, commitment, and continuity.

In the fall of 2023, I expanded our mission by purchasing The Depot, a retail store that not only offers handcrafted home décor, personalized merchandise, school spirit wear, gift baskets, and more—but also provides meaningful employment opportunities for the individuals we support. We relocated the store to North Canton and rebranded it as You-Niquely Yours Personalized Gifts & More by Amore Services, where creativity meets purpose every day.

Outside of work, I’m always on the move. Whether it's hiking, camping, working out, or simply spending time with my family, I love staying active and making the most of every day.

At Amore Services, our mission is simple yet powerful: to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by creating meaningful opportunities in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment. As a Stark DD Gold Star Collaborative member, we are proud of our legacy and even prouder of the trust our individuals and their families place in us. With low staff turnover and a team that truly cares, we continue to raise the standard for what compassionate, consistent care should look like.
